Warren County runs a DWI court

The county operates a dedicated Warren County DWI Court alongside its treatment court, both at the courthouse. Under the circuit’s Local Rule 75.5, limited driving privileges may be granted to participants and graduates, and the drug court judge handles those applications. Three towns’ municipal cases are heard in this same building

Truesdale, Marthasville and Innsbrook each have a municipal division on paper, but their cases are heard here at 104 West Main Street rather than in a city courtroom, and they share the circuit clerk’s phone line. Truesdale’s own code elects to have its ordinance violations heard by an associate circuit judge. If your ticket came from one of those three, this is where you answer it — and the posture is closer to circuit court than to a typical municipal docket.

Check the address you were given

Truesdale’s police page directs defendants to “104 West Boonslick.” Warren County does have offices on Booneslick Road, so the address is not a typo — but the circuit court is not one of them. The Missouri Judiciary’s own listing puts the court at 104 West Main Street, Warrenton, with the circuit clerk at (636) 456-3363. Other county numbers are easy to confuse with it: the Sheriff’s Office is (636) 456-4332 and the Prosecuting Attorney is (636) 456-7024. For a court date, use the clerk.

Everything is e-filed

The 12th Circuit is a “no exception” court — all matters must be e-filed unless resolved while in court. Self-represented defendants file paper originals with the clerk.

The dress code is in the local rules

Local Rule 9.4(4) names tank tops, sleeveless shirts, crop shirts, shorts, lounge or pajama pants and sweatpants as inappropriate courtroom attire. The rule is written to attorneys appearing before the court, but the standard is what the courtroom expects of anyone in it — dress as though it applies to you.

Your license case is filed here too

Missouri venues both Department of Revenue tracks in the county where the arrest happened. So if you were stopped inside Warren County, the petition goes to this courthouse — even if the ordinance ticket itself is pending in another county’s municipal court. That split catches people out near the St. Charles County line.

Your license case is separate, even in this building

The Missouri Department of Revenue is running its own action against your driver’s license, and it does not wait for your criminal case. You have 15 days from the date your Notice of Suspension (Form 2385) was issued to request an administrative hearing, and the Department states that missing it means no hearing and no further appeal. If that hearing goes against you, the petition for review is filed in the circuit court for the county of arrest — which can be this courthouse — but it is a separate civil case with its own file number, not part of your criminal docket.
