What to know about this court
Go to the Justice Center, not City Hall
The court is at 1020 Grand Teton Drive. Some older city pages list One St. Peters Centre Boulevard, which is City Hall — a different building.
A Division 9 or 10 summons means you are in state court
St. Peters tells its own defendants that if the summons says Division 9 or Division 10, the case belongs to the 11th Judicial Circuit Court, not the city. Useful check if you are not sure which system you are in.
Dress code, verbatim
“The proper attire for court shall NOT include shorts, tank tops, hats, or sunglasses.” Violators will be asked to leave the courtroom.

Remain seated until your case is called. No smoking, eating, drinking, sleeping or recording, and electronic devices must be switched off.
Continuance to hire a lawyer
The court states that if you plead not guilty and want an attorney, you can ask to postpone the hearing one time in order to hire one. Jury trial requests must be filed by written motion ten days before the setting.
Your license case is not heard here
Whatever happens in St. Peters Municipal Court, the Missouri Department of Revenue is running a separate action against your driver’s license, and it does not wait for your criminal case. You have 15 days from the date your Notice of Suspension (Form 2385) was issued to request a hearing, and the Department states that missing it means no hearing and no further appeal.
